A simple question that changed everything
Innovation often begins with a simple question. Why does drying on a clothes rack take so long? We faced exactly this problem: a conventional tumble dryer wasn't an option – too expensive to purchase, high power consumption, harmful to the environment, bulky, and not suitable for all fabrics. At the same time, drying on a clothes horse was often frustrating: It took forever and blocked up valuable living space. So we looked for a solution – one that simply dries laundry faster, without heat, without high energy costs, and without compromises. But we couldn't find anything that met our needs. So we decided to take action ourselves.
The idea: Bring natural drying indoors
From idea to prototype
The idea was there – but how do you implement it?
How many fans are optimal? Where should they be placed? How far above the floor should they be? Questions upon questions.
Our first prototype was simple, but the results were promising. So we continued testing and optimizing: different airflows, materials, designs. Step by step, the HEYDRY took on its current form: a sophisticated system that addresses precisely where conventional clothes dryers reach their limits.
